The 51mm AMOLED in gesture mode (29 days) nearly matches the 51mm Solar without sun (30 days), which surprises people; the difference is that the Solar model then adds 18 days with sun and the AMOLED adds nothing. Turn the AMOLED always-on and it drops to 13.

How much the solar lens actually adds
On the 51mm: 60 percent more smartwatch days, 57 percent more GPS-only hours, and 3.5 times the max-battery hours. On the 47mm: 33 percent more smartwatch days, 37 percent more GPS hours, and only 2 percent more all-systems hours (48 to 49), which shows the smaller lens cannot keep pace with a full-rate multi-constellation draw.
